I am so excited to let you all know that I will on the Spellbinders Inspiration Team for another year.  Stacey has written a beautiful post on the Spellbinders Blog, announcing the team.  You can read all about it here:

Together with my friends on the Inspiration Team I will be creating projects that will hopefully inspire you all to get your creativity on!  The primary focus of the Inspiration Team is to produce artwork that will be displayed throughout the many retailers that carry Spellbinders projects.  It is all very very exciting!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs

I think you guys are going to love the latest stamp set from JustRite Papercraft because of it's versatility.  Not only is this stamp set perfect for Weddings and Anniversaries but how sweet to give to your loved one for Valentines Day or use the beautiful ornate label in the center on it's own for an anything-anytime-occasion!!!!  I also used a Spellbinders die template on the background of this card called Grateful Lattice

Now it's time for some uber inspiration from the rest of my team.

Have a great day. We are on Spring Break so I want to find time to get outside and play ;)

A Card for Hope and Promise

Sometimes making a simpler card is all that is necessary to convey a special message.  I designed this card with one Spellbinders die template set called Just Swingin' and the beautifully scripted sentiment from JustRite's latest release called

The JustRite team have all created beautiful samples with this set - each one quite different and spectacular!

Stamp, Sketch and Win

Today the JustRite Design Team and the Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Design Team have a fabulous blog hop planned for you!  Be sure to visit each blog for full detailed instructions on how they created there mixed media projects.
I love to draw and sketch.  Faber Castell Mixed Media products allows me to stamp an image using my favorite JustRite Stamps and then sketch over those images to create the illusion of a delicate handrawn image.  Here's how I did it:
Preview of JustRite Stampers April Release: Floral Thank You

1. Apply the ink directly to the stamp using the PITT artist pen big brush in Green Olive and Pale Geranium Lake
2. Color over portions of the stamped image using  PITT Pastel and Art Grip Aquarelle pencil (*love*)
3. Add pops of metallic sheen with PITT artist Pen in Ruby Metallic.
4. Sketch around the image using PITT Pastel and Art Grip Aquarelle pencil
Win Fab Prizes

To Win simply  leave a comment on each designers blog post. Justrite will randomly select two designers blogs and select winners from each designer's comments.   Comments will be open until March 22nd at midnight EST.
It really is fun to get to experiment with different mediums.  I hope you get a chance to play with these fun products too.  Wishing you tons of luck entering & thanks for stopping by :)

Celebrate Life

Spring is here!  Today the weather is so glorious in Colorado that it honestly feels like spring.  I check for little buds on our tree - but alas none yet.  I know we will get snow soon again but for a brief fleeting moment I am embracing the warmth and beauty of new beginnings. This card certainly is a reflection of my energized mood :) This beautiful bracket stamp and sentiment is JustRite's latest release called:

The bracket stamp was designed to coordinate with Spellbinders S4-161 Labels One, S4-375 Scallop Labels One, S4-379 Decorative Labels One and A2 Bracket Borders One.  I also used Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder for the background.

Now here is more for you to feast your eyes on.  I love the inspiration that this team brings

I cannot believe it's Thursday already - one day closer to the weekend! Have a great one

Egg Shaped Easter Card

Easter Celebrations are just around the corner so for today's JustRite stamp release I was inspired to go traditionally pastel :)  The flower and sentiment are both new releases from JustRite Papercraft

&

I die cut the egg shape using one of my older Spellbinders die templates (which is no longer available on their website).  I think this die template may still be available in stores and online - just google Spellbinders Nested Eggs.  The beautiful intricate flourish is brand new Spellbinders Die D-lites called Fantastic Flourish One and the pretty paper is from Graphic 45.

I am sure you are ready to see what else you can do with this gorgeous image so without further ado here is your JustRite Inspiration...

Oh So Pretty..So Witty..So Bright

Lately I have been making cards without a sentiment on the front - instead saving the message for the inside of the card. This style of cardmaking is working for me right now because as I design them I tend to give them away!   So designing a card for an unintended event actually works well for an intended last minute occasion.  See where I am going with this? It's perfect :)

This card was made with JustRite Papercraft's latest and greatest set called:

I stamped the flowers twice and then fussy cut them after coloring them with my Copic Markers.  To create that dimensional look I cut around one section of each flower and adhered it over the colored base flower with a foam square.  Looks totally fab and so easy to recreate too :)

The card base is a made from a Spellbinders die template called: Decorative Labels Eight. These intricate dies do make beautiful detailed shaped cards but do remember to use a sheet of wax paper between the die and cardstock to ensure that the paper can be easily removed from the die!

So many stamps so little time - well worry no more because the JustRite Team have fabulous projects and ideas to use these stamps!

Have a wonderful Monday - and do make time to be creative.  It will set the tone for a glorious week!

Something JustRite for You

I know many of you are aware of how much I love altering gift bags.  There is something really special about embellishing a bag and card in one.  I know I am slightly addicted but it's all good because I can and willingly give these babies away!  It's when I "need" to keep them that things get bad right?  Ha!!!

I designed this little beauty using JustRite Papercraft's brand new March set called

Not only is the stamp set filled with so many different designs and sentiments but JustRite also sells the matching Spellbinders/JustRite compatible die templates - CahChing!!!!  Here I used Vintage Labels Three dies and Vintage Labels Two dies. A perfect match to make any project vavavoom :) Other fab product on this card is Authentique Paper and Imagine Crafts ink and tools.

This set does come with so many beautiful different stamps and the JustRite Designers have all created gorgeous samples to show you the bountiful possibilities for this versatile set.  Here is your link list.  Grab a cuppa joe - sit back and enjoy!

Tomorrow we continue with the fab new releases at JustRite. Be sure to stop by as I share another project which I totally Love.

A Perfect Crafty Match

I created this card for the Julianna Hudgins blog called Positively Me using products that were specifically designed to coordinate with one another.  Julianna designed the Spellbinders Die templates and the chipboard and bling are from Want2Scrap - perfectly designed to coordinate with the dies.

Don't you just love the shape of the card? That is brand new Spellbinders too - it's a die template called Gold Labels Four - it cuts/embosses/stencils but it it also Debosses!!! I played with these dies at CHA and let me tell ya I was hooked!

That sentiment stamp is from JustRite Papercraft and is part of the For All You Do Vintage Labels Three Set - also new from CHA :)

Things are cooling off here in Colorado this afternoon so I am off to do some chores and then settle down with a warm cup of coffee and craft! Have a great day

I Dream of African Treasures

There were so many exciting products making their debut at CHA including the Jewel Loom designed by Julianna Hudgins as well as an exclusive die template, plate and bezel collection released by Spellbinders Paper Arts.

I was inspired by my African roots when I designed this pendant.  The Zulu and Ndebele tribes of Southern Africa are master beaders.  The center panel was created on the Jewel Loom using Toho beads.  I added the little stone beads and treasures by mixing Ice Resin which secured the trinkets in place.

You can find details on how I created this pendant by visiting Julianna's blog and this post:

Thanks for stopping by today.  I am in transit as I make my way to frigid temperatures in Michigan.  Have a warm toasty day.

JustRite Poppies Stamp New at CHA

This is one of the beautiful JustRite stamp sets recently launched at CHA Anaheim in California.

I was fortunate enough to attend CHA with Spellbinders and just as lucky to have the really gorgeous JustRite booth right across the isle from us.  Preston, Kellie and Angela did a wonderful job setting up the JustRite booth - it looked so inviting and was decorated with class and flair. This card and so many others from the team was on display in the booth which made me beam with pride :)

The card base is made from Spellbinders brand new CHA release die set called: Radiant Rectangles. I stamped and fussy cut the Poppies set and colored them with my Copic markers.  The gorgeous glittered die template is an exclusive JustRite/Spellbinders die called Vintage Labels Four Dies

Some of the JustRite design Team have all created the most beautiful projects with this set.  Here is a link list for your viewing pleasure:

Thank you so much for spending a portion of your day with me.  I know you will love working with this set as much as I did.  Have a fabulous Thursday (already????)
