BBTB & Toot'n my Toot

The Designers for Regina's Bitten by the Bug had to use the "pound" cut for this weeks challenge. I chose to make mine into a Valentine Tic-Tac-Toe card. Everyone had such awesome interpretations of this challenge - take a look at that what they did here: Bitten by the Bug I received the most welcoming email from the publishers of Cards! Reminiscing about Hawaii

When Reminisce announced a fabulous contest using their signature line I jumped at the opportunity to do another layout about our last trip to Hawaii :) Their Signature Series includes paper for so many occasions including sports & vacations that I had no trouble using two different Hawaii theme papers and stickers for this layout. Birthday's Galore

It seems that during the summer months Everyone is celebrating a birthday - at least a lot of the children we know. I have had birthday's on my mind since early June and I know this trend will continue well into August. So it was only fitting that I made a birthday card (for no one in particular) using the G.C.D Studio paper & chipboard collection. Scrap 4 Life is offering all G.C.D products for 10% off until the end of July. I think today will be another pool day with the girls and then hopefully some card making and a layout this afternoon. I survived!

Both our girls celebrated birthdays this week. Ashton turned 4 and Alex turned 2 just a few days later. We have had a week of non-stop celebrations as family have come to visit for the past two weeks. My crazy days came to a glorious finale yesterday when we held a joint party for both of them. There was cake, games, food and a lot of toddlers but I think everyone had a good time. I made this layout using the Fancy Pants Chi Chi Collection. Sweet Baby Boy & a BIG announcement

This week at Bitten by the Bug the design team had to use the Star cut on Georgie (George is one of the first Cricut cartridges - an oldie but a goodie). I chose to make a baby boy card :) The other designers did such an amazing job - take a look at how versatile one little star can be HERE
