Things are crazy busy in our household. Grandpa & Grandma are here visiting and there is always something fun to do. The girls certainly love it and so do we. Tomorrow we will all go Trick or Treating and I can't wait because the weather is gorgeous in Colorado. I hope your Halloween is a safe and Happy one.

I am so excited to move from Halloween and Thanksgiving into Christmas. These are all magical holidays that make decorating, card making and baking so much fun. Regina is in the Christmas spirit too because the BBTB challenge this week was to use the Nut Cup from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More with a Christmas theme. I hauled out my bag of tricks and found this bird tree ornament, winter berries & leaves.
On the home front we are getting ready for Grandpa John and Grandma Shirley to arrive. The girls are so excited because every day is a fun day when Gama Gama are here. Have to get the camera batteries charged to take a ton of pictures.Pin It
.Have a great Monday Hugs Kazan

Alex had her first haircut at Lollilocks, a cute children's hair dresser with so many services that it is in fact, in my opinion, a Spa for children. She was so good - sat there quietly and content watching Ms. Tina trim her little baby locks. Thank goodness Ms. Tina did not go too short because I think Kev would never let me take the kids to have their hair cut again.
I must admit I was a bit nervous returning to the very place that thought the pixie look on my child would be cute - my opinion, if ever asked, would have been that the pixie look is cute, but on someone else's child - but I was never asked. Instead we were forced to accept the short Bob after the big reveal when Ms. Lolly asked if it was too short. I guess it was a rhetorical question because a No answer would be lying and a Yes would certainly not put 4 inches back on her head. It took me all of 10min to fall in love with her new do but it did take her Dad a bit longer to love it too. This time round we made sure that the communication channels were wide open and any Scissor Happy Snipping was left for someone else's child.Pin It
Hope your weekend is going fabulous Hugs Kazan

Over the past two weeks we managed to visit two pumpkin patches. The one did not provide much of a photo-op because of pouring rain. We almost found our entire family of pumpkins though - two little Girl Pumpkins and a Mommy one. Luckily we found a super cute pumpkin patch near by where we found the perfect Daddy Pumpkin and managed to take some cute pictures in the warm Autumn sunshine.
Laura had such a fun journal week on her blog last week where she framed her pictures in black - I loved the look so much that I experimented in photoshop to get the same effect. You can see Laura's pictures and read about her week here: A Day in the Life of the Paper Poppy
Hope you have a great Thursday - the weekend is almost herePin It

I love Halloween. The excitement in the neighborhood, malls and media is always so electrifying around this time of year. We will have Grandma and Grandpa here to celebrate with us and I can't wait - just 11 more sleepies :) To get everyone into the Halloween spirit I chose to make the tree cut from the Cartridge Joys of the Season into a spooky Tree for Halloween. The other Designers at BBTB did amazing work too. I am feeling a little under the weather this Monday Morning so I am off to get some R&R...
.Hope your Monday is amazing

Laura and I have just announced our Winter Design Team call for 2 Sketches 4 You. If you would love to be a card designer for our sketch blog check out all the details here: 2S4Y DT Call
This week at BBTB the Designers had to use the fun "vine" accent from the Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge. It is such a fun versatile cut that can be used in so many different ways. Here is what I did: I hope you all have a wonderful Monday :) Hugs

It seems like we had the fastest Fall on record because this weekend it feels like Winter - with snow in the forecast too! One of the joys of living in Colorado though is that next week we should be back to Fall temperatures so actually there is little room to complain! I actually do love this weather because I can settle down and be creative or do some serious housework..something about cooler weather that makes me nest and putter around the house.
I made these three cards for World Card Making Day. Embellished Scrapbook held a marathon card sketch challenge and these are my takes based on 3 of their sketches.

I made this card and tinny a while back and forgot to share it :) I love these darling stickers and the ribbon is soooo yummy to work with too.
Ashton had her first Asian meal today and ate with chop-sticks. She is a pro! Mommy and Ashton day was spent at the scrapbooking store getting fun goodies and celebrating afterwards with a delicious lunch at Pei-Wei. Wednesday's are so much fun.
HHope you have a good one :) Kazan

This weekend was filled with so much card making inspiration at it was almost perfect from a crafters point of view. Saturday all Card makers celebrated World Card Making Day and everyone came out in force. Every blog and website that I visited had something special to celebrate cards as did we at 2S4Y. Thanks to all those that visited and to those that played along too.
.Regina has the most awesome challenges for all those Cricut owners. Over at Bitten by the Bug the designers had to use the Pear cut from the Home Accents Cartridge and what they made is simply beautiful.
.Have a fantastic Monday - it is a cooler one here so hopefully we can get a lot done

I love it when I can use my Cricut for projects other than intended. That is precisely what Regina does at Bitten By the Bug. She encourages the DT to think outside the box and the results are drop-dead gorgeous. Take a look here at BBTB to see for yourself. The dress from the cartridge Enchanted was our task for this week.
...Don't forget tomorrow to join us at 2 Sketches 4 You as we celebrate World Card Making Day. There will be prizes and giveaways all day.
