Youth Art Month

This week at 2 Sketches 4 You it is my turn to post a sketch and we have a special event to go along with it. March is Youth Art Month and we are giving away prizes for the junior cardmaker too. My oldest daughter, Ashton, made a card for this occasion too. I was beaming with pride because at 4 1/2 I think she did a fabulous job. I know it looks more like a medieval structure but she actually drew a birthday cake and colored it with Sakura Markers. The papers, embellishments and design are all her own doing - I helped adhere ;). The Design Team also participated with their children - all tooo cute for words. Hope you can join us this week..

  11. How cute that your daughter and you share the same hobby. I love that.
I hope she doesn't spent hours on fixing cards as well ;-)/
It was funny to hear that I am not the only one who does that. Things always seem to go so smoothly for other scrappers but I guess that is just the outside.
I love your work and was proud you complimented me.
