Today I can officially announce that I am joining the ranks of some very talented cardmakers as part of the JustRite Stampers Design Team. I have been a huge fan of JustRite stamps for quite some time and now I get to play to my hearts content - learning and sharing as I go along and hopefully bringing you all a bit of inspiration along the way.
The card I created for my debut came together rather quickly using a bunch of my favorite manufacturers and companies. The sentiment is from the JustRite Stampers January/February New Releases called Stitched with Love Borders and Centers Round, which I stamped onto the Spellbinders S4-230 Labels Six die template.
To get your sentiment perfectly centered first stamp the sentiment onto your cardstock. Position your die template, with the cut side down, over the sentiment and secure with a little tape. Now you can flip the die template and cardstock over and run it through the Wizard. A little pastel dusting along the embossed edges gave it the vintage look to match the paper. I used my Copic markers to color the buttons and added a bit of green to the leaves. The delicious looking paper is from some of my favorite manufacturers including October Afternoon's Good Junk, g.c.d Studio's Colored Birds and Pebbles Lil'Miss collection.
To make the card simply mount your patterned papers to cardstock and stitch along the edges. Adhere patterned paper to the front of your card base and secure the ribbon along the width of the card. Using adhesive attach the front panel over the ribbon. Finish by securing the sentiment and embellishments.
Thanks so much for stopping by - I can't wait to share my next JustRite project with you.
