I can't get enough of JustRite Stamps - lol!  Lucky for me JustRite is sponsoring 2 Sketches 4 You this week so this is my card based off of my Sketch 49.  I used these two different sets of JustRite Stamps:

JustRite Friday Challenge Time

I cannot believe how much fun we all had on the JustRite 3 Day Mega Blog Hop.  Thank you one and all for  your amazing comments and enthusiasm - I am so glad  you enjoyed everyones projects, it made for one awesome event!

I used JustRite's Thinking of You Set  with Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Sm .  The ribbon is from Offray and the flower is Prima Marketing. To create that little border edge at the bottom of the card I used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Borderabilities .  Finally those darling little butterflies are from Tim Holtz.

I hope you all have exciting plans for this weekend and that some of them include crafting!  I plan to work some cardmaking into my weekend for sure!

Welcome to the first day of the JustRite Stampers Mega March Blog Hop!  To kick off this humongous event JustRite Stampers has gathered some 87 Designers who will be showcasing their work over the next 3 days.  The most exciting part is that JustRite Stampers will be giving away FIVE shopping Sprees each day!  


Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of  $600.  JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees.  For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog.  The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning.  Each day’s comments will remain open for three days.  A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org.  Consult the listing of designers at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way!  Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog.  Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!

Your questions answered:

Copic markers that I used on the flowers: Sketch RV19, RV14, R85 and Ciao BV08, R37

Those dimensional poofy dots through the lattice are actually Glitter Domes/gems by Crystal Stickers (I picked mine up at Archivers).  I stuck each dome/gem in a lattice hole to create the illusion that they were peeking through (pretty simple yet so effective!)

To create the 3D flowers stamp each flower twice on white cardstock.  The flower is from JustRite's My Garden Borders & Centers Round.  Color the entire surface of the first flower paying attention to shadowing and highlights on the bottom outer petals. Neatly cut along the edge of the petals.  Next color the inside smaller petals of your second stamped flower.  Pay attention to shadowing and highlights.  Neatly cut around the edge of the smaller inner petals.  Cut along some of the petals and left edges for dimension.  Using a foam dot adhere the first flower to the second flower. finish by securing a button to the center.

I cut and embossed the lattice strip using Spellbinders™ Lattice Borderabilities® Petite.
After adhering the lattice border to your card and candle simply stick the glitter domes in each little lattice hole.

Reminder: TOMORROW.Mega.March.Blog.Hop!

Did you know that this month JustRite Stampers is celebrating their 2-year Anniversary with their first Blog Team Members? 

They have quite the celebration planned  in honor of that Anniversary!  JustRite is hosting a huge event, a Blog Hop  spanning 3 days and featuring artwork from  86 designers!  Now that is just the beginning of the celebration -- it wouldn't be a party without prizes!  And since it is their biggest hop ever, they are giving away shopping sprees which will total $1800!!

Dreaming of...

This week the JustRite Friday Challenge is very close to my heart because Spellbinders is sponsoring the prize!!!!  You can win Spellbinders Dies (new releases) or Impressabilities simply by making a card that meets these requirements:

1. Use JustRite Stamps 

2. Mix 'n Match (use a combination of two different JustRite Stamps)

Now on my sample I had fun with JustRite's square border from the 2" Decorative Square Monogram Kit .  Next I stamped the cake image from the Friendship Borders & Centers Round Set and colored it in with some yummy frosting colors using my Copic Markers.  Now the cake image is from the 3 1/4" Diameter round Set and the frame measures 2" but I purposely wanted the cake to be in front of the frame (all I did was trim it and pop-dot it to my card).  It shows that different size JustRite stamps and different shapes can still work together in a fun unconventional way.  

I matted the stamped square on Spellbinders Big Scalloped Squares LG , which ironically is similar to the set that JustRite is giving away for this challenge *hehe* I promise that this is a coincidence which I am thinking is kinda funny and random..okay moving right along.  Cosmo Cricket was my paper of choice for this card and to make my life even simpler I used their pre-printed journaling block from their Honey Pie Collection - sweet!

Striking gold..

For Moxie Fab World the challenge is Diggin' on Doilies & Lace .....mmmm!  Ok so at this stage in this house there is no trace of either - weird I know :) THEN I remembered my brand new October Afternoon paper (yep the Thrift Shop collection) had some beautiful lace images on and so it came about, through pure random coincidence, that I do in fact have lace that looks like doilies!  I struck gold!  To finish the card up I decided to pair the lace up with a frilly romantic custom sentiment from JustRite Stampers called Special Occasions Font (stamped with a horizontal stamper).

Another gorgeous day in Colorado is in the forecast...and then snow.  We will be outside tomorrow :)

Exciting News

My Friend and fellow DT member at 2S4Y, Kathy Martin , has launched her own line of digital   images called Digital Doodle Stamps!  The launch day is TODAY and she will be selling her products through 2 Peas in a Bucket  - Wow way to go Kathy *whoot-whoot*.  For this card I worked with the uber cute & fun Balloon Bouquet by Kathy Martin.  For more of her fabulous collection take a peek HERE  and please stop by and tell me if you have made a project using her line - I would love to see it too :)
