It seems like forever since I blogged but we are finally back from our vacation well rested and ready to tackle the last week of craziness before Santa arrives. I was so excited to find THIS in stores around Denver!! Whoot whoot. This is my very own issue of Scrapbooking & Beyond which features may layout of my oldest daughter on the cover! We both just stood and beamed at the display stand for awhile before snatching up 5 copies (the grandparents, aunties and uncles all want one). I will go back and get more but there was only 1 copy left and I thought it kinda defeats the object of your child being on the cover and no one else gets to purchase a copy *lol*. I was pleasantly surprised to see another layout of mine inside this issue too..the little one is a little perturbed that she is not featured but I made up for it with a ice-cream cone treat (yes it is that warm in Colorado - East of the Mountains) and a promise that Mommy will do more layouts with her pictures in the future ;)
This is a project I made for Spellbinders a while back. I wrapped a kraft box and then created these 3D snowflake embellishments for fun. I think they would look quite grand scattered on a table or mantel. Instructions for this project can be found here: Spellbinders: Sweet Holidays Box
I hope you are all having fun this week and that sweet Holiday karma follows you wherever you may go.
Hugs
