I am excited to share my Spellbinders Bunny Hop project with you today.  I created this little baby shower ensemble using the featured die templates: Spellbinders S5-045 Banner Basics Two and S4-261 Play Time. Other Spellbinders die templates on my projects include S4-324 Ribbon Banners and S4-092 Stars Five.  Of course no baby project would be complete without beautiful paper from My Mind's Eye, The Girl's Loft, Basic Grey and WorldWin Papers.
{K-Design Tips}
Peg, a visitor to my blog, emailed me recently and expressed how much she enjoyed a design tip I had written about in a previous post.  That email prompted me to start a regular feature on this blog called: K-Design Tips where I will share methods, shortcuts and general tips that I use on my projects.  Today I will repost a tip that I shared on a previous project called Letterpress or Reverse Stenciling using Spellbinders die templates.  I used this technique on both the Ribbon Banner shape and the Banner Basics Two shape.
One of the fun techniques that can be achieved with Spellbinders die templates is called the Letterpress or Reverse Stenciling technique. Start off by appling ink directly to the die template.  Carefully flip over the die template onto your cardstock and secure with a strip of tape.  Cut/emboss the tag.  Once you remove your shape from the die template you will have a beautiful shape with perfectly inked 'letterpressed' edges.

Thank You Spellbinders Paper Arts for sponsoring the Bunny Hop and the prizes today. For questions about this contest, please email .
Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog to be eligible to win the Spellbinders die templates I featured today!  Then check the Spellbinders Blog tomorrow to see if you are the winner!
Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me today.  Good luck!  I can't wait to see who the lucky winner is

Win with JustRite & Stampers Dream

I have a fun post for you today.  The JustRite Stampers Design Team have teamed up with the Stampers Dream Design Team to bring you a fun blog hop to introduce to you the JustRite new releases for March, which include:

To make this event even more fabby there are some goodies to be won too :) - more about that a bit further down in this post...

I am all about jazzing up everyday objects to make them extra special for celebratory occasions.  For today's project I started out with a simple white box.  I stamped a beautiful decorative border from JustRite's Elegant Frames set and cut/embossed the shape using Spellbinders Labels Twenty

Next I stamped the sentiment, also from JustRite's Elegant Frames set, on white cardstock and cut out the beautiful tag shape using JustRite's custom Spellbinders Nested Frame die template.   After securing ribbon to all four sides and tying a luxurious bow on top I finished my project with a beautiful oversized butterfly, also from Spellbinders.

{How To}

One of the fun techniques that can be achieved with the JustRite custom die templates is called the letterpress technique. Start off by appling ink directly to the die template.  Carefully flip over the die template onto your cardstock and secure with a strip of tape.  Cut/emboss the tag.  Once you remove your shape from the die template you will have a beautiful shape with perfectly inked 'letterpressed' edges.

Along the hop JustRite Stampers have 3 great blog candy prizes hidden!  No one knows where the blog candy is!  For your chance to win one of these three prizes simply leave a comment on each blog.  Blog comments will remainn open until 8 pm CST - Tuesday March 22nd.  The 3 winners will be announced on the Stamper's Dream Blog and the JustRite Blog on Wednesday March 23rd.

Here is what you have a chance to win:

Thank You JustRite

I simply adore the Tuesday Trigger this week from Moxie Fab World. That turquoise with the pinks is so delicious and fresh and probably my all time fav dream color combo for a beach house look.  The stamp sets are part of JustRite Stampers Original ribbed March new releases.  For the floral border I used a stamp from Hugs to You Borders and Centers.  I love the fluid watercolor look of the flowers on the chair of the Tuesday Trigger and attempted to recreate the image with my Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from JustRite's Original ribbed set called Heart to Heart.

For this card I chose the colors as my inspiration but could not find the right blue in my stash.  I settled on this Basic Grey blue which had that weathered distressed look even if not the exact same hue.  Using raw chipboard on my cards is a fun technique which adds a little rustic flair as well as neutral balance.

I have a super fun week lined up with tons of projects to share - including a special project for the Spellbinders blog on Tuesday.  Hope to see you all then!

Take care
:) Kazan

JustRite Stampers Charmed Stamps and Custom Dies
Blog Hop

Now here is some exciting news that will make Spellbinders fans and JustRite Stampers Fans jump with joy.  JustRite Stampers have added more Spellbinders custom die templates which have been designed to specifically coordinate with JustRite Stamps to their collection!!!  The die template set being revealed on today's Hop is called Charm Dies.  These adorable shapes consist of a set of 12 custom Spellbinders Dies which include 4 shaped tag dies designed to coordinate with CL-02110 Charmed stamps and with all JustRite Original 1 5/8" centers.

The Charmed Stamp set comes with 15 Stamps which include stamped shapes to match the shaped custom Charm Dies and sentiment centers.  You can mix and match to create endless varieties of adorable charms for virtually any and every gift giving occasion!

On my little Easter treat box I used the Circle Charm die and then the stamp and sentiment from Charmed Stamps.  The other JustRite stamp that I used is a border from Hugs to You which I colored with Copic Markes and matted on Spellbinders Lacey Oval.
