I loved the inspirational cards on the Scrapbook Etc Hop, especially those dimentional stars which I used as inspiration to create my 3D Patriotic Star. I kept one side of my card blank to write a little note of appreciation and then decided to personalize the card with a picture of our family.
Supplies
- Spellbinders S4-092 Stars Five
- JustRite Stampers/Spellbinders Custom Nested Frames Die Template
- Flourishes Tag Lines Stamp Set
- Best Creation Glitter Paper
- Scor-Pal
- Adhesive Spray
- Cardstock (blue and white)
- Twine
- Buttons
Instructions
1. Cut 4 large stars from blue cardstock using the largest star die template. Cut 4 medium stars from white cardstock. Cut 3 small stars from red patterned paper. Adhere the polka dot star to the white star and then to the blue star. Repeat all starts are completed. One star will have a blank white star to add journaling and a picture.
2. Score a line down the center of each star and fold along the scored line to form a crease.
3. Spray adhesive on the back of each star and adhere one folded side to the next star's folded side. Before adhering the final star, rest a looped piece of twine in the center which will become the hanger.
4. Finish by stamping a thank you tag cut with a Nested Frame die and embellishing with buttons.
