An Authentique Tuesday Trigger

Tomorrow I fly out to CHA but before I leave for a week filled with fantastic inspiration I did manage to do a bit of creating with the help of Cath's beautiful Tuesday Trigger image.

I drew inspiration from the unusual color palette - a first for for me.  I don't recall ever using soft pink, yellow and black together :) I found the perfect paper for my card from a brand new paper company called Authentique (their papers are simply divine!).

That scalloped lacy edge is also new :) It is Spellbinders brand new wow-product called Edgeabilities.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be sharing what I see at CHA here and on Facebook.  Have a wonderful week - see you all right back here in a few days :)

Craft & Hobby Association

I am off to CHA in just a few days and I cannot wait.  Each year I can't believe all the new things that are showcased and this year is no exception.  I have caught a glimpse here and there of companies sneak peeking their new releases and they are fine - might fine indeed.

Spellbinders has a very special new release debuting at CHA too.  The crafting community has been buzzing after Spellbinders recent 'Get the Knowledge! Blog Frenzy' and this is the reason why:

A Fun & Happy Halloween Card

I have another Halloween card to share with you today, and this image is also from JustRite Stampers.  The super cute witches boot is from JustRite's

All the images on this 2" round set are really adorable and perfect for children's Halloween projects.  I love the matching borders too.  The one that I favor is the little flying bats - super super cute!  Remember  the 6 design centers and the 6 borders are interlocking and fit a 2" round stamper.

A Spectacular 4th Weekend

I made these super quick and easy cupcake toppers for this weeks' Spellbinders Blog post.  I love going to parties, especially this time of year, and it is always nice when you can take something with you that has a personal crafty touch.

I used two Spellbinders die templates, some red, white and blue cardstock (including Glitter cardstock) and voila!  Your work is done.

For full details on this project check out my Spellbinders Blog post.

My family and I wish you all a wonderful
4th of July celebration.
We hope your weekend is filled  tons of fun, food and plenty of Red, White and Blue!
