A Match Made in Heaven

Welcome to the third day of JustRite's latest releases.  Today's stamp set features a variety of beautiful vintage inspired images that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders™ Labels Four (yay!!!).  The JustRite stamp set that is making it's grand debut today is called

Shabby Chic Labels Four

The base of my card is Spellbinders™Lattice Rectangles.  I colored my JustRite Shabby Chic image in with Copic markers and then cut the label using Spellbinders™Labels Four.  The pink mat was cut from Spellbinders™Labels Four Sm which provides a 1/8th inch nested border (loooove that!).

Vintage inspired Stamped Candle and Gift Bag

The magic and romance of vintage Paris continues today with JustRite Stampers second release of this shabby chic collection called

Greetings from Paris

For today's project I chose to stamp on a candle using the flourish and borders stamps from both the JustRite Bon Voyage set and Greetings from Paris.  I made the gift bag using the postcard and postage stamp images from Greetings from Paris.  The die template is Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangles.

To stamp on a candle you need a few basic supplies:

• Stamp set
• Tissue paper
• Ink
• Wax paper
• Embossing heat tool
• Candle
• accessories & embellishments

Stamping on a candle instructions:

1. Stamp the image on the shiny side of the tissue paper
2. Carefully trim around the edges of your image.
3. Adhere the image to the candle by applying a small dot of adhesive
4. Wrap the candle in wax paper, using the ends as grip
5. Heat with an embossing tool until the tissue paper melts
6. Remove wax paper to reveal stamped image.

Bon Voyage is C'est Magnifique!

Today is a very special day because JustRite stampers is revealing a stamp set that is so gorgeous and Magnifique that everyone will be shouting "Oui Oui" as you click through blog to blog - promise!

I cut die cut "Carte Postale" - which is a little sneak for the next reveal - using Spellbinders gorgeous new die template called Twisted Metal Tags and Accents.  The shape of the card was achieved using Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangles.  The bling around the frame, called Nestabling, was especially designed to match the Spellbinders die tempate and is made by a company called Want2Scrap.

Stamping on Candles Spellbinders Style!

On today's Spellbinder's Blog post I have a tutorial on how to make a paper Spiral Blossom and how to stamp on a candle.  I love how super easy this project is and how fab such a simple technique can make an everyday project look.

Cheers! To a Great New Year ~ Teacher Gifts

My girls have one more week left of their summer vacation before they both head off to school.  We have had a wonderful vacation filled with summer time fun activities including bbq's, amusement parks, lakeside adventures and tons of pool time.  I wish we had a little more time together because unlike years before I kind of wish this summer would last a little longer...

On Friday we have a meet 'n greet at school and both the girls are anxious to see their new classrooms, meet their teachers and find out who their classmates will be.  We like to give a small gift to our teachers and this year I totally found my inspiration on Pinterest.  I loved this idea of taking a travel mug, filling it with a yummy bevie and personalizing it too.   We found these clear, cool beverage mugs at Bed, Bath and Beyond and filled them with sachets of Starbucks Via Carmel Iced Coffee (Yum)!

I chose paper from Authentique's Foundations Bi-Fold Solid Paper collections and their beautiful pink & yellow "Delight" Paper.  To make the scallops I used Spellbinder's Grand 12" Big Scalloped Border Grand die template.  The little monogramed tags are also from Authentique Papers.  The tags are from their Tabloids collection and the letters are from their Classic Type Collection.  I also love the eclectic look of this  colorful fiber from Basic Grey's Romani range.

I have a few more projects to complete this week before the craziness of playing 

'taxi-mom' begins.  I hope your summer remains in full swing :) Enjoy!

Stamping for a Cure!

I am really pleased to bring you this card today because of the special meaning it holds for thousands and thousands of woman, some who may be friends and family.  JustRite Stampers has created this beautiful set called:
