Fall Inspiration

I love this sentiment from JustRite Papercraft August Release called Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves.  The sentiment alone makes this card so versatile because it can be given year round (not just in Fall hehe).  Here are the deets on the set:

To make this card I simply stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them with my Copic markers.  I fussy cut each leaf and crumbled them up adding to the shabby chicness *is that even a  word???*.  Foam adhesive squares make the leaves pop off the card :)

I tell ya - after my recent to trip to a HOT San Antonio TX, the mere thought of Fall is a welcome relief!!!  Have a great creative day.

  1. to say I love this card would be an understatement. This has to be one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. Top 10 all time favorite I think. TFS!

  2. kazan your card is great. how did you get the leaves to shine so much? do copics have that much shine or was it the paper or glossy accents? the card is adorable!

    1. Hi Christi
I think it is a combination of a shinier paper, natural light coming in through the window and the angle of the card. You can see on the second picture that the leaves don't have quite as much shine because I moved the card angle :) - so in short no intentional methods used to add shine LOL - Thanks for the compliment! 4. Wonderful! I love those crinkled leaves and the stitching. The linen background is a perfect beginning. Kazan, this is award winning!
