You can see the card in it's entirety on Julianna Hudgins blog Positively Me!  and I have a full list of supplies for you there too.

JustRite-Petaloo Christmas Inspiration Day Four

It's day Four of the Christmas Inspiration week with JustRite and Petaloo Flowers.  The JustRite Papercraft design team is having so much fun using Petaloo Flowers on their projects.  Be sure to hop on over to the Petaloo Blog to see what their design team member has created with the JustRite stamps and their flowers.

I am totally hooked on using gold and red for my Christmas cards this year  - seriously right - because I use this color combo a lot!  See this card too *lol* :).  Here I used JustRite's beautiful background stamp called Embroidered Background Stamp.  I cut the pretty detailed frame from the gold cardstock using Spellbinders Asian Motifs die template and then stamped and heat embossed the Embroidered Background stamp onto the cardstock.  After that it was a matter of putting everything together including adhering the pretty Velvet Poinsettias and leaves from Petaloo to the front of my card.

Also participating today's JustRite-Petaloo Christmas Inspiration Hop is Heidi Blakenship. So be sure to stop by her blog too.  Well it's snowing here in Colorado so I am definitely in the mood to get my Christmas mojo on.  Have a lovely Thursday.

Celebrate with Becca Feeken's November Kit

It's once again time for Becca Feeken to reveal the die cuts, stamps and projects from her next magnificent kit at Amazing Paper Grace.  This one is Kit number 3 and when I first laid eyes on Becca's beautiful projects that she made from the November Kit I gasped.  I sent her a note expressing my admiration that each month seems to be just as beautiful (if not better) than the month before.  I am so in awe of her amazing talents and how I too, can create projects inspired by her *sigh* - a dream coming true finally right!

My 3D tree was created by using the two Spellbinders die templates that come with the Kit.  I LOVE the fact that there are stamps and dies each month that we can use over and over again.  This is awesome stuff I tell ya!!!  That little banner waving above my tree was created with a sentiment from Becca's stamp set this month.  Just wait until you see all the versatile phrases on this baby - my oh my - it's a whole years worth and more!!!

Here is a direct link to Becca's site where you can find out all the deets on how to order and see her projects that she created from this Kit

To show you the versatility of this November Kit the JustRite Design team have come together to inspire us all with their projects using the die templates and stamps from the Amazing Paper Grace's November Kit:

Here's wishing you all a wonderful crafty Saturday.  We have two soccer games today and a little dinner get-together tonight - I will have to be crafty in the kitchen later!  Thanks for stopping by

Red & Gold Christmas Card

With Christmas just around the corner we paper crafters are already thinking about those handmade Christmas cards that need to be made.  Here is one that is really quick and easy to make put together.   I created this beautiful sparkle border with JustRite's latest border stamp set called

The stamp looks like it has been deeply etched into the gold.  I created this look by embossing the stamped image using Cosmo Shimmer embossing powder.  Cool huh!   The gold cardstock is from WorldWin Papers and the pretty patterned paper is from Graphic 45.  The Stamps are designed to be used with Spellbinders Classic Edges Two die templates - which i used to cut out that precise border edge.

The JustRite Papercraft Team has been busy making gorgeous inspiration projects with this set too.  Take a peek at this list:

I hope these beautiful projects put you in the mood to start thinking about Christmas because the countdown has officially begun!!!

Celebrate the Key to Your Heart

I made this card for Julianna Hudgins blog post today.  The design inspiration for my card is actually quite simple..Going back to simple, elegant and classic is part of finding the key to your heart and happiness.   The details in the Spellbinders die templates create interest and dimension and then of course the pearls bring a touch of elegance, finished off by the classic houndstooth ribbon.

The Spellbinders die template product information and details how I put the card together can be found on the blog Positively Me by Julianna Hudgins

Today is a busy day for me so I am off to grab a cup of coffee and get it started!  Have a fantastic crafty day too.

Michaels Cambridge MA Pictures

I have just returned from a whirlwind weekend in Boston, Massachusetts where I attended the grand opening of the Michaels Cambridge Store with Spellbinders!

As many of you are well aware, Michaels Craft Stores are now carrying Spellbinders products in them (here in the US and Canada) soooo... with my Spellbinders supplies packed I jetted off to Cambridge MA to do a demonstration of the Grand Calibur and some of Spellbinders die templates.

What a treat this trip was - first of all I got to meet Jo Pearson, who is not only a huge celebrity in the crafting industry but also the kindest and sweetest person too (did I also mention funny?!).  She was one of a handful of Michaels Execs attending the event!

Store Manager, Steve who is really the nicest guy,  leads a fun energetic team and I was especially pleased to meet Mike and Brenda who I think should both travel around the country with me promoting Spellbinders and Michaels - now that could be dangerously fun!  I seriously felt like I had been into this store 100 times!  Love the "Family & Friends" atmosphere I felt there.  I think this goes for the whole of Boston though - SUPER cool people - AND I love the accent!

I can't wait to return to Boston, especially this time of year with those gorgeous fall colors.  Thank you to Michaels and the City of Cambridge for your kind hospitality!  See you soon xoxo
