Ending February with a Sketch!

Today is the last Tuesday for my sketch at Skipping Stones Design.  I love this stamp set called:  Heartsong which includes three darling images including this bird and butterflies.

I created a little window for my bird by nesting Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares and Classic Squares die templates and of course I colored my little robin with my Copics :)

Tuesday's Sketch with Skipping Stone Design

This month Tuesday's means sketch time at Skipping Stones Design.  This beautiful stamp set is one of their new releases called Garden Stamp Kiss and includes a few textured designs, a silhouette butterfly and this darling bird.

Did you notice that each of the little squares contains a stamped script design? I stamped those using Garden Stamp Kiss before I die cut and layered them on my card.

Looks like I forgot to link up the die template I used on this card. Thanks Patty for asking this question..

I used Spellbinders S4-315 Beaded Squares.  To make these little quilted looking squares I first stamped the script image and then positioned my die template over them and cut/embossed them with my Grand Calibur.  I ran pastel chalk over the embossed edges to give them a vintage feel.  Those cut out edges were perfect for me to hand-stitch a border too :)

Crafting with Children: Make an Easter Favor Basket

Little Card for a Big Occasion

Today's JustRite Stampers reveal is particulary gorgeous - I say so because this set consists not only of this beautiful flower image but also frames and borders that compliment Spellbinders die templates!  Love that :)

Cast All Your Cares

The set consists of 7 Clear stamps and coordinate with Spellbinders S4-310 Labels Sixteen and E8-002 Classic Bracket Edgeabilities.  I created the shaped card using Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares.  I colored my flower, leaves and frame with Copic Markers and the blue paper is from Momenta.

Oceanside Sunsets and Dreams...

Today I have two JustRite stamps to share with you!  Both are new releases and both are fabulous!

The Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels consist of 12 cling stamps, which include both vintage inspired images and beautiful beachy sentiments.  The Chevron Stripe Background stamp measures 4 ½ x 5 ¾”

JustRite Stampers Easter Blessings

JustRite stampers have a brand new release stamp set just in time for Easter.  The set is called

Easter Blessing 

and consists of 7 clear stamps and coordinates with JustRite's JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion die template.  

{How-To}

To create the bouquet I first stamped the image on white cardstock. Then I stamped it on scratch paper and cut around the edges. This was my mask.  I positioned the cut image over my stamped image and then stamped a second flower, particially overlapping the first flower.  Once I removed the mask the stamped images appear to overlap each other.  I stamped a third image on white cardstock and after coloring it in I trimmed around the edges and adhered it to the card with foam squares.

I used Spellbinders Tear Drop Circles, Fancy Tags One and M-Bossabilites on my card.  I colored my flowers with Copic markers :)

Sketch time with Skipping Stones Design

It's Tuesday February 14 - Valentines Day!  It's also sketch time at Skipping Stones Design.  This cute stamp is one of their new releases called Sassy Cats and includes two fun images of cats and witty sentiments to go along with them.

When I designed the sketch I thought of a round shaped card but it can be interpreted other ways too.  I love this paper from My Mind's Eye and of course my Spellbinders!.  I think between the stamp, sketch and paper this one came together pretty easily :)

Passing the Cute Test with Momenta

Making fun shaped cards for little ones celebrating big birthdays is not only fun but rewarding too.  My girls LOVE this card - not sure if it is the adorable little monkey in the hot air balloon or the bright fun color combination but it passed the 5 & 7 year old Cute Test!  This is my card for today's Momenta Blog post titled:

I used Momenta's One Fine Day paper pad which comes with all the cardstock, images and glittered numbers to complete your card and a ton more!  I have a tutorial on the blog post on how I put this baby together!

I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday - it is very cold here in Colorado but I am enjoying the warm and toasty vibe of my local Starbucks before I head into my daughters school to help in Kindergarten!

Strawberry Favor Box

Hi everybody - for today's Spellbinders blog project I created this little Strawberry Favor box.  I used a combination of old and new die templates including Spellbinders brand new Cut-Fold-Tuck dies.  I have a tutorial on how I put this together on this Spellbinders Blog post:
