Dainty Little Snowflakes

Every once in a while I like to create something just for the sake of creating!  I started out with good intentions with this card but ended up with me not loving the results.  Plan B proved equally unsuccessful. Eventually I think I needed a lunch break, a step outside and a few other minor distractions to get my focus back.

That's when I started to create for the sake of creating - Simply sitting down and playing with color options, different stamping techniques and die cuts.  The key word here is playing!  Once I started playing my creativity started flowing :) So I present to you today a card I made just for the sake of creating!

I started off by heat embossing the background stamp onto colored cardstock.  The beautiful intricate stamp is called Lace Oval Frame Background Stamp.   Next I stamped and heat embossed one of the images from Lace Vintage Labels Three.  I used the Spellbinders 2013 Snowflake Pendant die to cut out the various shapes (Notice the pink snowflake has the stamped/embossed pattern on it) - see you I told you I was playing *lol*. Once that was all said and done all that was left to do was assemble my card with adhesive and foam squares and tie a pretty decorative bow!

There is lots more to see on the rest of the JustRite Team's blogs:

Thanks for spending part of you week with me.  Have a fabulously gorgeous & creative weekend
